Just got back from Monterey CA where I was locked in my hotel room eating room service and working on new book. Flying to North Carolina tomorrow. Hope to catch a couple of races and record interviews for book research.
Decisions made in the absence of crises reveal the hearts true path! Greg Palmer
Had a great trip to North Carolina! Got a chance to see a couple of races and spend some time with Megan and her family. Keep your eye on Megan Reitenour she is a very talented and smart race car driver! Her driving style reminds me of Mark Martin. If he ever retires Hendrick Motorsports would find a great person to fill that seat in Megan.
NASCAR DRIVERS, WHEN YOU LOSE CONFIDENCE: At one time babe Ruth held the record for home runs, he also led the league in strike outs! To truely succeed you must accept that sometimes you must fail. Concentrating on failure or on your good fortunes in life determines your level of confidence. We each must decide which we choose to dominate our thought. It is certainly good fortune to have a choice isn’t it!!!
Choose who you associate with carefully and always remember, if you don’t want to smell like shit you can’t swim in the toilet.
Being in the right place at the right time may be good, but knowing when you”re in that situation and taking action is life changing! Greg Palmer Propology 101
Help me know what experiences may hurt me and those that will help me grow as a person and give me the wisdom to know the difference between the two.
Being the best requires believing your the best. Trying to be the best already means that you have doubts as to your ability to succeed!
I wrote this for my friend Megan Reitenour CONFIDENCE: My life exists entirely between my ears. I believe that I am a great race car driver, therefore I am! The rest of the world just needs to catch up with my way of thinking! Winning of course speeds up that process for them.
Green flag about ready to drop on the new season… I’m not driving this time, but I’m going to focus my writing on NASCAR and ARCA racing drivers and others in this sport. My first interview, will be on the career of Megan Reitenour, a young outstanding driver who was selected for the Drive for Diversity Program.
